Yes. Slate supports importing your full workout history from Strong, Hevy, and CSV files. You don't have to start from scratch — bring your data with you. Go to Settings → Import Data in the app.
Slate is designed to be the fastest, most intuitive workout tracker — whether you follow your own program or need one built for you. For experienced lifters, it's fast logging, smart analytics, and it stays out of your way. For newer lifters, the AI workout studio builds sessions and programs backed by exercise science. Most trackers only do one or the other well.
Describe what you want in plain language — like "45-minute push day" or "full body, dumbbells only." Slate uses EMG-based exercise science data to select the most effective movements for your goals, equipment, and time. You can generate single workouts or full multi-week periodized programs.
Yes. Your workout data is stored locally on your device and syncs to the cloud when you have a connection. You can track workouts with no internet at all — even in a gym basement with no signal.
Yes. Slate supports supersets, circuits, giant sets, and every common workout structure. It also handles weighted exercises, bodyweight exercises, cardio, timed holds, and 8 different input types — so you can track any kind of training.
Slate is currently iOS only (iPhone and iPad). An Android version is something we're considering for the future, but there's no timeline yet. If you'd like to be notified when Android launches, reach out to support@slatefitness.app.
All your workout data stays with you — nothing is deleted. You'll keep your full workout history, saved exercises, and cloud sync on the free plan. You'll just lose access to Pro features like advanced analytics, AI generation, and unlimited templates until you re-subscribe.
